# Governance

In order to allow true community control of the $BOBS ecosystem, a governance contract was deployed. This contract allows users to stake $BOBS and earn $bigBOBS, which will be used for decentralized governance. 

Users accrue \~0.086 $bigBOBS per 1 million $BOBS staked, per day. 

**$bigBOBS must be claimed**, they do not automatically transfer to your wallet.\
\
$bigBOBS is a non-transferable governance token.

The maximum $bigBOBS that can be accrued is 80850.

Upon unstaking **any** amount of $BOBS, all of a user's $bigBOBS are burned.
